The World Young Scientists Summit 2020 was held in Wenzhou, Zhejiang province, on October 18.Wan Gang, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and chairman of China Association for Science and Technology, sent a video address to the summit.


Wan Gang said in his speech that at present, promoting sustainable development through scientific and technological innovation has become the only way to solve global issues of common concern and address global challenges.We hope young scientists will be committed to innovation, build consensus and build a global innovation network.

The summit is the second, since last year, the first to "gathering together the world for a better future" as the theme, by the China Association for Science and Technology together with the people's government of zhejiang province, from countries, regional and international science and technology more than a group of scientists, entrepreneurs, venture capital, artist representatives to attend, of which about 70% for young scientists under the age of 45.
